Rorouni Kenshin menceritakan tentang pengembaraan seorang samurai legendaris, nama lainnya adalah Kenshin Himura. Untuk beberapa tahun ia hidup menjadi Battousai Si Pembantai. Dia adalah yang terbaik dari semua pembunuh bayaran yang terbaik. Ia memiliki tehnik yang sempurna. Dia sukses berkat Shishio Hiko Seijuro. Beberapa tahun, dia melihat, merasakan, dan hidup dari darah para musuhnya. Pembunuhan terjadi dari ketakutan dan perlawanan dia. Dia ingin keluar dari hidup ini, dan ingin hidup damai. Seseorang tau bahwa Battousai si pembantai adalah Kenshin Himura.

Kaoru, seorang gadis yatim piatu; Sanosuke, nama dari mati dan darah; Yahiko, diselamatkan oleh Kenshin dan menjadi muridnya; Megumi, Doctor wanita. Pengembara samurai itu telah melupakan masa lalunya dan kini ia menjalani hidupnya yang sekarang. Si samurai tidak pernah menggunakan pedangnya lagi. Dia telah memiliki pedang baru, mata pedang terbalik dia berjanji tidak akan membunuh lagi. Tapi suatu waktu, Battousai tidak pernah mati. Dalam pengembaraannya Kenshin Himura menemukan tentang kota Tokyo dan Kyoto, berjumpa dengan musuh dan sahabat-sahabatnya. Tapi mata pedang kebalik itu untuk kebaikan atau untuk kehidupannya?

Nube: Guru ahli roh, dengan judul asli Jigoku Sensei Nube (地獄先生ぬ~べ~ Jigoku Sensei Nūbē?), adalah serial manga yang diciptakan atas kerjasama dari seorang penulis bernama Shou Makura dan seniman bernama Takeshi Okano dalam majalah komik Weekly Shonen Jump terbitan Shueisha. Serial ini terdiri dari 276 bab (tidak termasuk bab tambahan dimana tokoh "Nube" dikenal sebagai "Nubo") dari edisi 38, 1993 sampai edisi 24, 1999. Serial anime Nube dengan 48 episode yang berdasarkan manga dengan judul yang sama diciptakan oleh Toei Animation, dan disiarkan dari tahun 1996 sampai 1997, ditayangkan oleh Animax dan TV Asahi. Anime tersebut menghasilkan tiga film dan tiga episode OAV. Di Indonesia, manga tersebut diterbitkan oleh m&c, dan serial animenya ditayangkan oleh TV7 (sebelum menjadi Trans7).

Umumnya cerita dalam manga ini mengambil latar di kota Dōmori. Tokoh utama dalam cerita tersebut adalah Meisuke Nueno (鵺野鳴介 Nueno Meisuke?), dengan nama panggilan Nūbē (ぬ~べ~ ?), wali kelas 5-3 di SD Dōmori (童守小学校 Dōmori Shōgakkō?). Selain sebagai seorang guru, Nube juga merupakan seorang ahli roh, dan sering melindungi kota Dōmori dari gangguan roh jahat dengan meminjam kekuatan setan yang terkurung dalam tangan kirinya – tangan yang ia sebut "Tangan Setan" (鬼の手 Oni no Te?) – karena tangan tersebut berbeda dengan tangan manusia biasa.

Hikaru's Go (Hikaru no Go, ヒカルの碁) adalah sebuah judul manga dan anime populer dari Jepang. Kisahnya bercerita seputar sejenis permainan papan, Go dan ditulis oleh Yumi Hotta serta digambar oleh Takeshi Obata.

Diterbitkan pertama kali di Jepang pada 1998, Hikaru no Go telah meraih kesuksesan yang besar, dan mengakibatkan permainan Go digemari secara besar-besaran. Kisah ini diterbitkan dalam 23 jilid buku yang berisi 189 bab serta 11 "omake" (bab khusus). Seri anime nya terdiri dari 75 episode - masing-masing setengah jam -, disertai episode khusus untuk Tahun Baru 2003 dan 2004.

Versi Bahasa Indonesia manga ini mulai diterbitkan di Indonesia oleh Elex Media Komputindo sejak bulan Juli 2004 ini dengan judul Hikaru's Go.

Hanamichi Sakuragi adalah seorang berandalan yang telah 50 kali ditolak perempuan yang diminta untuk menjadi pacarnya. Ia kemudian bertemu Akagi Haruko, gadis idamannya yang mengajurkan Sakuragi untuk mencoba bergabung dengan tim basket SMA Shōhoku. Meskipun agak enggan karena tak mempunyai pengalaman bermain basket, Sakuragi memutuskan untuk bergabung agar dapat membuat Haruko terkesan dan membuktikan dirinya pantas untuk menjadi pacar Haruko. Kaede Rukawa, saingan Sakuragi baik dalam hal percintaan maupun di lapangan basket, bergabung pada saat yang sama. Hisashi Mitsui, mantan pemain terbaik di SMP, dan Ryota Miyagi keduanya juga bergabung dengan tim Shōhoku untuk mencapai impian sang kapten tim, Takenori Akagi untuk membawa Shōhoku menjadi juara nasional. Bersama-sama, kelimanya membentuk tim yang kuat dan Shōhoku yang sebelumnya tidak dikenal luas berubah menjadi salah satu calon juara. Kemudian mereka ikut dalam perlombaan antar SMU,untuk mencapai harapan takenori akagi mencapai juara nasional.mereka berlatih dengan giat,memasuki hari pertandingan sakuragi tak dapat tidur memikirkan.

Urameshi Yusuke, 14 years of age, is about as troublesome and violent as teenagers come. He is constantly ditching school, causing trouble, and getting into numerous fights everyday. One day however, he does the unexpected, sacrificing himself to save a young child. Such an action, was never ever expected, especially coming from someone as troublesome as Urameshi Yusuke. The afterlife is not prepared for Yusuke, as they never thought he would make such a sacrifice. Nowhere to go, and dead, Yusuke becomes a ghost and must earn his way back into existence.

Yusuke is "employed" by Koenma, who is in charge while his father and ruler of the afterlife, King Enma, is away. Under Koenma's command, Yusuke helps to stop menacing demons that threaten the lives of people everywhere; whether by stealing priceless and invaluable items and destructive weapons, or by wreaking havoc on humans everywhere.

Throughout Yusuke's journey, he is usually joined by; his arch-rival, and local bully, Kuwabara Kazuma. He is also joined by two demons named Hiei and Kurama, whom are ex-convicts of the afterlife that managed to escape from Koenma.

This group of unlikely allies goes on to participate and struggle in battles that have outcomes that determine the fate of humanity!

Yu Yu Hakusho is created by popular mangaka Yoshihiro Togashi, who is also responsible for creating the acclaimed and much-loved series known as Hunter X Hunter.

Legend of Heavenly Sphere Shurato (天空戦記シュラト Tenkū Senki Shurato, lit. Heaven Wars Shurato), is a Japanese manga and anime, created by Hiroshi Kawamoto and animated by Tatsunoko Production. It ran 38 episodes on TV Tokyo from April 6, 1989 to January 18, 1990 and also spawned a 6-episode OVA series, that ran from August 16, 1991 to March 16, 1992. It was one of the most popular shōnen series of 1989.^{[citation needed]}

Set in a parallel world called "Tenkūkai", which exists alongside Earth, evil forces known as the Asura Gods threaten to overcome the forces of good, causing the magical leader of this realm to transport warriors from Earth to their world. It was heavily based on Hindu and Buddhist mythology, and covered a range of topics, including brotherhood, reincarnation, camaraderie, inter-dimensional travel, destiny, and spirit magic.

PLOT

The plot revolves around two non-hereditary brothers, Shurato Hidaka and Gai Kuroki, lifelong best friends who are polar opposites of each other in appearance and personality. While fighting each other in a martial arts tournament, they are suddenly encased in a beam of light and transported to a parallel world, Tenkūkai, where modern technology does not exist and instead the people rely on Sohma, a form of spiritual energy.

Shurato discovers he is actually the reincarnation of an ancient king of the same name, who once ruled this world, and one of the "Hachibushu", a group of eight legendary warriors with large quantities of Sohma, and was brought here along with Gai to fight the Asura Gods, a legion of destructive warriors. However, for unknown reasons, Gai attempts to kill Shurato repeatedly, confusing Shurato as the real Gai is a pacifist and the most compassionate person he knows.

Things quickly go wrong when Shurato and another of the Hachibushu, Ten-Oh Hyūga, are framed for the petrification of Lady Vishnu, a powerful divinity and the leader of the people of Tenkūkai. The actual culprit, Vishnu's highest advisor and Asura spy Indrah, and the corrupted Gai manage to convince the remainder of the Hachibushu, as well as all of Tenkūkai's warriors and soldiers, that Shurato and Hyūga are evil and must be killed.

Although at first reluctant to get involved, Shurato eventually resolves to aid Hyūga in uncovering the conspiracy and cure Vishnu. They are accompanied by the young Tenkūkai spirit priestess Lakshu, and two others of the Hachibushu, Ryū-Oh Ryōma and Karura-Oh Reiga. Along the way, they engage in battle with the other four of the Hachibushu, sinister Asura agents in league with Indrah, and the majority of Tenkūkai's population.

Patlabor

Patlabor atau Mobile Police Patlabor (機動警察パトレイバー, Kidō Keisatsu patoreibā^?) merupakan manga dan anime karya Masami Yuuki pada tahun 1988. Di Indonesia, anime ini disiarkan di stasiun televisi Indosiar pada tahun 1994.

Manga ini bercerita tentang negara Jepang di tahun 1998 hingga 2002 di saat robot-robot yang disebut "Labors" dipekerjakan untuk pekerjaan berat. Kepolisian Tokyo pun juga memiliki persenjataan menggunakan robot yang disebut Patlabor (Patrol Labors) untuk mengatasi kasus kejahatan yang melibatkan Labor. Manga ini lebih menceritakan tentang kehidupan sehari-hari para anggota polisi Divisi 2 Patlabor, dengan fokus utama pada karakter pilot muda bernama Noa Izumi di Divisi 2, seksi 2.

Pada bulan Oktober 1989 hingga bulan September 1990, studio Sunrise memproduksi serial televisi dengan judul Kidou Keisatsu Patlabor On TV sebanyak 47 episode dengan disutradarai oleh Naoyuki Yoshinaga.

Dua seri OVA Patlabor telah dirilis oleh Sunrise, OVA pertama berjudul Patlabor: The Original Series (Kidou Keisatsu Patlabor), dirilis tanggal 25 April 1988 dan terdiri dari 7 episode. OVA kedua berjudul Patlabor: The New Files, dirilis tanggal 22 November 1990 dan terdiri dari 16 episode. OVA ini merupakan sekuel langsung dari serial televisinya.

Selain itu, tiga buah anime layar lebar juga telah dirilis oleh Sunrise. Anime layar lebar yang pertama berjudul Patlabor 1 - Mobile Police (Kidou Keisatsu Patlabor The Movie), dirilis pada bulan Juli tahun 1989. Anime layar lebar yang kedua berjudul Patlabor 2 (Kidou Keisatsu Patlabor 2 The Movie), dirilis pada bulan Agustus tahun 1993. Dua buah anime layar lebar Patlabor kesemuanya disutradarai oleh Mamoru Oshii (Ghost in the Shell, 1995) dan diproduksi oleh rumah produksi Production I.G (Ghost in the Shell, Blood: The Last Vampire) dengan musik dari Kenji Kawai (Ghost in the Shell). Anime layar lebar yang ketiga berjudul Patlabor WXIII, disutradarai oleh Fumihiko Takayama dan dirilis pada tahun 2002. Film yang ketiga ini ditayangkan di bioskop Jepang dengan disertai intro sebuah OVA baru yang berjudul Mini Pato.
